Twin Gables is a custom architectural home designed around two main pavilion-style forms, with gabled roofs running east to west to maximise light, openness, and connection to the outdoors.

Extensive glazing and pitched ceilings create a bright, spacious interior, while cedar cladding and natural materials allow the home to sit comfortably within its surroundings and respond naturally to the canal-side setting.

Canal and mountain views provide a striking backdrop throughout the home, with strong visual connections from the kitchen, dining, living, and master bedroom spaces.

Outdoor living was carefully considered throughout the design, with sheltered west-facing entertaining areas that create comfortable spaces to relax and gather during the warmer months.

The result is a refined, highly liveable architectural home designed for modern family living in Mid Canterbury.
