Waterfront is a bespoke architectural residence designed to respond directly to its lakeside setting, with a focus on openness, natural light, and uninterrupted views. The design incorporates low-profile roof forms, wide overhangs, and extensive glazing to create a strong connection between the interior spaces and surrounding outdoor environment.
The build involved complex detailing across full-height glazing systems and large open-plan living spaces. Exposure to the waterfront environment also required durable construction solutions and careful consideration around weatherproofing and structural performance.
The completed project delivers a striking architectural presence that remains understated within its landscape setting. Strong horizontal forms, natural textures, and expansive outdoor living areas combine to create a highly functional and visually refined home that feels both sheltered and open to its Mid Canterbury surroundings.
